Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Ice Cream
Ingredients:
2 cups heavy cream
1 cup whole milk
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup chocolate chip cookie dough, chopped into small pieces
1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
Directions:
In a mixing bowl, combine heavy cream, whole milk, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and salt. Whisk until the sugar is dissolved.
Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Five minutes before the churning is complete, add the chopped cookie dough and mini chocolate chips into the ice cream maker.
Once incorporated and the ice cream has reached a soft-serve consistency, transfer it to an airtight container.
Freeze for at least 2 hours, or until firm, before serving.
