Peach Cobbler Cinnamon Rolls
Dough:
3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 packet active dry yeast
1 cup warm milk
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 tsp salt
2 large eggs
Filling:
2 cups fresh peaches, peeled and chopped
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
Glaze:
1 cup powdered sugar
2 tbsp milk
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Directions:
Prepare the Dough: Dissolve yeast in warm milk with a pinch of sugar. Combine flour, sugar, and salt. Add melted butter, eggs, and yeast mixture. Knead until smooth. Let rise for 1 hour.
Make the Filling: Melt butter, stir in peaches, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Cook until thickened.
Shape the Rolls: Roll dough into a rectangle. Spread peach mixture evenly. Roll dough into a log, cut into 12 pieces. Place in a greased baking pan, let rise for 30 minutes.
Bake and Glaze: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake for 20-25 minutes. Whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla for glaze. Drizzle over warm rolls.
