Orange Chocolate Cheesecake

• 2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
• 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
• 3 packages (24 ounces) cream cheese, softened
• 1 cup granulated sugar
• 1 cup sour cream
• 3 large eggs
• 1 tablespoon orange zest
• 1/4 cup fresh orange juice
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract


. Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
. In a bowl, combine the chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan to form the crust.
. In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth and creamy.
. Add sour cream, eggs, orange zest, orange juice, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
. Pour the batter over the crust in the springform pan, spreading it evenly.
. Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes or until the center is set.
. Allow the cheesecake to cool completely before refrigerating for at least 4 hours or overnight.
. Once chilled, remove from the springform pan and slice into heavenly portions.
